In this class we will cover how to create special effects using out of kit items. We will give you all the tools you need to create fx makeups on the fly as well as give you portfolio building techniques. Students will take turns practicing techniques on each other. Topics we will cover include:

~ the importance of reference photos

~ how to build a photo morgue (library)

~ burns and blisters from 1st degree to 3rd degree burns 

~ bruises, cuts, lacerations, scrapes, pimples, broken nose etc.

~ thinking outside the box 

~ a handout covering all class topics

~ small makeup kit to use and take home includes: liquid latex, sponges, stipple sponge, Artex two part silicone, thickened prosaide, nose & scar wax, burn/bruise wheel, setting powder, craft brushes, applicator swabs, & more.
